Meet Our Founder

Randy Ibarra founded Zen Voyage Insider after witnessing how agents and agencies struggled with ways to promote their brands in a world that was constantly evolving. He wanted to create a space where agents and agencies could ask questions without feeling like they were a nuisance or seen as unprepared. Randy strongly believes in a growth mindset and wanted to bring it to agents and agencies. Travel agents and agencies have not been rendered obsolete by the internet and AI chat searches that promise quick hacks. Now, more than ever, is the time for this industry to experience a renaissance.

Randy earned his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Master’s degree in Marketing from Florida International University. For years, he worked at The Palace Company as the Marketing Coordinator, where he created and reviewed over 50 multilingual marketing plans for hotels in North America, the Caribbean, and Europe. He successfully executed multilingual marketing campaigns that included original, branded social media content, such as videos and graphics. Randy used his background in Psychology to sharpen messaging and marketing techniques, evaluate content and KPIs, and buyer personas.
